We are pleased to be working alongside International Missionary Fellowship (IMF) at Hospital Evangelique de Bombardopolis in northwest Haiti.
Our two full-time missionaries, Russ and Karen Beaurivage, spend much of their time in Bombardopolis. Russ provides medical evacuation flights and oversees the development of the airstrip and hangar projects, while assisting with maintenance at the hospital. Karen looks after the administrative side of our projects and ministries.
The development of an airstrip beside the Hospital Evangelique de Bombardopolis began in May 2019, and the airstrip was certified for use in May 2020. This was a co-operative project between the district government, Mission Aviation Fellowship, International Missionary Fellowship, and HFAM. We are now building a hangar adjacent to the airstrip for aircraft storage and maintenance, with a pilot's lounge and quarters.
