Our base in Bombardopolis is located near a small, rural hospital called Hospital Evangelique de Bombardopolis (HEB), and we regularly transport patients from HEB who require further care at larger medical centres, including ones equipped with an operating room.
Many of our medi-vac flights are conducted for low-income persons and therefore at no cost to the patient, and so in addition to the "earned donations" from our mission flights ministry, we rely on supplementation from our donor base to continue to operate these life-saving flights.
We operate all of our aviation services on the financial gifts of generous people like you!
The HERO team coordinates all the land transportation to/from the aircraft, provides all in-flight care, and coordinates the transfer of care to the receiving hospital.
